Month Visited: November-December 2018

Type of visit: Family

Length of stay: 3 nights

Check-in and first impressions:

Beautiful entrance, very elegant, lobby is Christmas decorates and has beautiful lighting and modern vs classic decorations. Friendly staff and easy check in. Our room was not ready when we arrived, it was very early in the morning, but we were invited to breakfast and one hour later we were guided to our rooms.

Room type and first impressions– size, views, wardrobe, decor, welcome amenities… :

We got a beautiful connected Imperial Room + Deluxe Rooms (just slightly smaller and with shower and bathtub combined- not separated as in the Imperial Rooms). Both categories newly renovated. We really loved how spacious it was, plenty of storage space, bathrooms were a very nice nice, specially for the Imperial Suite, which we had a very big bathtub and very big shower. Decoration was very elegant and modern. Immediately the St Regis Butler came to our room and asked us if we needed any help unpacking or for restaurant reservations. We received a bottle of Ruinart champagne and daily fresh fruits as welcome. Specially loved how easy it was to turn on/off and the 3 different types of light: Bright, ambience, night… easily from all parts of the room.

Bathroom and amenities:

Bathrooms were very big, from face tonic, to cleanser… anything you need was there!!! And the quality was very good. I am personally amenity-obsessed and they were great and everyday replaced without having to ask.

Room Service:

They were very efficient and fast in cleaning the room. We also ordered food for dinner, everything was great, not too many things on the menu. The only but i’d say is the club sandwich was a bit cold for my taste but for the rest everything was perfect and the amount of food was generous.

Wifi connection:

Easy to connect, they give you a wifi code in reception in a card. You must keep it and log in every 24 hours.

Breakfast took place in the lobby area and bar, it was very nice, staff were very friendly. Specially loved the show cooking of eggs and the Eggs Benedict with truffle were SO GOOD.

Pet-friendly hotel:

YES. Our pet received her welcome amenities too. A bed, treats, and two bowls for food and water!

The area is Republicca, it is about a 15 minute walk from the main sites like the Trevi Fountain and about 25 minutes to Piazza Spagna. Rome is a very touristic city so it was nice to stay away from the crowds at the end of the day.

What I love the most:

The Deluxe and Impersial Rooms and suites- I would recommend both of these room categories. They both have been renovated very recently and are lovely. The staff is very efficient and the hotels’ decoration is stunning.

Disclosure: I was a guest of this hotel and even though the hotel may have offered complimentary services, my reviews will never be swayed one way or the other. Hope you trust you have received complete truth in each review.
